Dr Akintunde Carim, MSc, MBA, DBA

Dr Akintunde Carim is an oil and gas exploration and production professional with extensive technical and business experience spanning more than thirty (30) years. He is an accomplished geologist with proven successes in finding, developing and producing hydrocarbons in Nigeria with technical strengths in all fields of geosciences. He was the General Manager, Geosciences for the ENI operations in Nigeria as well as a Director with the Nigerian Agip Exploration Ltd, a subsidiary of ENI in Nigeria. He had worked as the General Manager, Nigerian Agip Exploration where he was in charge of ENI operations in deep offshore operations in Nigeria and the PSC. He had also worked before as the Upstream Business Division Manager where he oversaw ENI’s involvement in Upstream business development in Nigeria.
Dr. Carim has authored and co-authored technical publications on natural gas and LNG including the Gas Resource Development in Nigeria and the Global LNG
Market.
Dr. Carim is a Certified Petroleum Geologist (CPG). He is a Fellow, Geological Society of London (FGS), Fellow, Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (FNAPE) and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG).
